Robert is a recent graduate of the Freedom Trail Realty School located in Boston MA. He promptly passed the Massachusetts State Realtor examination to obtain his license, and then became an outstanding addition to our team along with becoming a member of the National Association of Realtors. Robert is also a member of Massachusetts Association of Realtors and locally a member of Berkshire County Board of Realtors. Robert's desire to enter into the real estate industry and become an agent felt like a natural transition for him as he comes from a 27 year career in the residential building industry. He also has the benefit of watching and learning from his wife Susan Colvin, who is a 10 year real estate veteran who consistently handles millions of dollars in real estate transactions a year. Robert and Susan have also made a career of owning many investment properties over the past 20 years.
 
Robert is a homegrown fellow of Berkshire County. He was born and raised in Pittsfield and a graduate of Pittsfield High School. He then continued to further his education at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After college he moved to Cape Cod where he embarked on a path to learn a trade in residential home building. He became a carpenter and took to it quickly, which drove him to hone his skills into becoming a fine craftsman. In 2000, armed with a skill and a degree he went into business for himself. In 2012 he expanded his abilities and obtained his Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License.

Over Robert's long career in the building industry he has gained an immense amount of experience in every aspect of home construction and renovation, all of which will benefit him in his real estate journey. His most valuable assets are his ability to work directly with all of his clients on managing their projects, and overcoming the problems that arise in every renovation project, all while maintaining a close, professional, and open communicative relationship. His mission is keeping a cost friendly budget, diligent schedule, and delivering the highest quality product he can.

Robert will be able to carry all of his experience forward to enhance his real estate career. He brings to the table an extensive knowledge of homes in general, a keen eye for relevant design features, outstanding math skills,and an amazing ability to problem solve in a timely manner to keep the process of home buying and selling moving forward.
