Adams, MA, a chic New England bedroom community, is situated in the northwest corner of Western Massachusetts. Incorporated in 1778, Adams is named in honor of Samuel Adams, American Patriot and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.
Adams is located in a picturesque valley at the base of Mount Greylock, the highest point in Massachusetts at 3,491 feet. It also has the Hoosic River running through it. Truly a nature lover's paradise! Hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, swimming, & for the extreme down-hill skiers, The Thunderbolt.
Honoring our farming roots, Adams is a Right to Farm Community! No need to worry if your alarm clocks fails to go off, your neighbor, who just may happen to be a rooster, will announce the dawning of a new day with his "cock-a-doodle-doo!"
Dog Lover? Come to Adams and visit the Greylock Glen, a 1,060 parcel of state land. It is a gorgeous spot complete with ponds, trails, and Pecks Falls.
A family orientated community, Adams offers so many programs for its youngsters. It boasts 4 athletic fields, a skate park, a few playgrounds, pictorial parks with benches & it is the starting point of the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. In fact, our municipal park systems are in such terrific condition, Adams proudly hosted the 2002 Little League State Championship Games.

Since Adams is a chic, New England bedroom community, the in-town nightlife is limited! However, since Adams is a tranquil, bucolic town belonging to Berkshire County, the electrifying nightlife is a short drive away!
